Sometime in the winter of 1980, two young marrieds with not a lot of money but a whole lot of love, created from that love a little girl named Raeanne, not to enter the world until the hottest day of the following summer. Luckily for her, those two young lovers were full of faith and passion, with a work ethic passed down from rough years on the dairy farm, and a determination ingrained from growing up without. Raeanne inherited a healthy balance of her father's precise efficiency and attention to detail, along with her mother's creative spark and drive.
After a childhood spent creating magazines with clippings, markers, and a typewriter, Raeanne found herself a top high school grad at one of the best tech schools in the country. She spent four years studying film production at Rochester Institute of Technology, and met her equally talented and driven husband, John W. Yost. It wasn't until after an unsatisfying experience working on the film Little Children in 2005 that Raeanne found the perfect use for both sides of her brain in Web Design.
Years of playing on the Web and an eye for design helped her quickly progress to her current position as Web Director for Glens Falls, NY firm, Trampoline Design. In her life as a "designtramp" and at home, Raeanne finds joy in unraveling code, adhering to Web Standards, and creating beautiful, functional websites with CSS and her much-adored Wacom tablet.
When she's not at the computer (which isn't very often), she can be found cooking up delicious vegetarian cuisine, traveling as much and as often as possible, enjoying a fabulous shiraz, playing guitar, or helping John make movies. She keeps her head on straight through the support of her awesome family, encouraging friends, and a devotional, ever-evolving yoga practice.
